Project Rapha
Project Rapha brings basic medical care, wound care, essential medicines, counselling, and prayer to people facing barriers to healthcare in Zambia.
What Is Project Rapha?
Project Rapha is a medical outreach in Zambia, offering basic medical care, wound care, essential medicines, counseling, and prayer to vulnerable communities.
The name "Rapha" means healing. As a Christian medical mission, Project Rapha is an expression of a longer commitment to walk with people in body and spirit through practical care and compassion.

Preparing for Project Rapha #2
Our next Project Rapha outreach is planned for 4–8 January 2027 in Kapiri Mposhi, Zambia's Central Province. We have made two preparation visits, during which local residents warmly welcomed the plan for our team's return.
We are preparing to select a team of 40 doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and medical students. The current estimated total budget is approximately US$20,000 and may change as preparations develop. We will share the venue, scope of care, expected patient numbers, and detailed budget as these are confirmed.
Alongside preparing for the outreach itself, we want to consider how people who need further care can be connected with local healthcare afterwards. Please join us through prayer, professional service, and support for these preparations.

The Support We Need
Project Rapha is a medical outreach with lasting impact. Here are the ways you can partner with us to bring compassionate care to those who need it most.
Medical Volunteers
Medical volunteers in Zambia — doctors, nurses, and trained health workers — are needed to provide basic medical care, wound care, and counseling during outreach.
Medicines & Supplies
Essential medicines, wound-care kits, and basic clinic supplies are needed for the outreach. Financial gifts help us purchase and transport these.
Prayer & Care
Prayer and pastoral support are offered to those who wish to receive them. We seek prayer partners and volunteers who will walk alongside the vulnerable with compassion.
Logistics & Referrals
Organizing transport, patient flow, and referral follow-up requires volunteers and funding. Help us support referral and follow-up where we can.
Care offered during the July outreach
During the 20–24 July 2026 outreach, the team offered basic medical care, wound care, essential medicines, prayer, and counseling to vulnerable people in Lusaka.
Care Offered With Dignity
Medical care is offered with dignity and compassion to those in need. Alongside practical medical service, our team offers prayer, encouragement, and spiritual support for those who desire it.
